Anti-Islam video protests Protests throughout the world continue to rage a week after they began over a crudely-produced video that mocks Islam. The internet video, produced in the United States , led to anti-American demonstrations in dozens of countries. Why are they so angry? Why did young people in Australia join in? As many as 17 people have died in the violence. American warships stood by off Libya after the US ambassador there was killed in a possibly-related attack. The embassies , consulates, and commercial interests of other western nations have been attacked during the protests. Is this just offended human nature?
