Why are many Christian Ministries suing US Health Department?

English: Hobby Lobby store in Stow, Ohio (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Wheaton Logo (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Tyndale House Publishers won a temporary injunction against the Affordable Care Act 's (ACA) contraceptive mandate Friday, convincing the D.C. Federal District Court that the requirement violated its religious freedom. The injunction , which Judge Reggie Walton said he granted because the Bible and Christian book publisher self-funds its insurance , is temporary . However, it raises hope of legal victory for more than 110 hospitals, schools, and corporations that have filed lawsuits against the federal government over the healthcare law . (Catholic organizations have protested the law's requirement that insurance cover contraceptives; evangelical plaintiffs have more narrowly objected to the list of contraceptives that must be covered, including "emergency contraceptives" that may inhibit uterine implantation.) Does handing out evangelism tracts still work?

Image via Wikipedia "The practice of proselytizing in public is as old as the New Testament . Jesus preached at public gatherings during feast times, and Paul preached openly in the marketplaces. So there seems to be a very old precedent for this kind of activity.  Furthermore, Paul recognized that some preached Christ with good motives and some with bad; nevertheless, he was pleased Christ was preached at all. In a debate, Christopher Hitchens complained about war and killing in the Old Testament . He said he wrote his book God Is Not Great in response to the murders in Muslim countries that followed the publishing of cartoons of the prophet Muhammad . None of these are arguments against God's existence, but rather arguments against how God and especially his followers act. Timothy Larsen, professor of history at Wheaton College and author of  Crisis of Doubt: Honest Faith in Nineteenth-Century England , says he has come to see doubt as a way in which we take our faith seriously: "If you haven't doubted, you haven't re-owned your faith." Many Victorian atheists, Larsen discovered, converted back to Christianity . "Some actually are really trying to answer questions. Th...
