Will there be sin in Heaven?

Since Satan and the demons who started as angels sinned in the perfect environment of Heaven, and Adam and Eve joined them by sinning as perfect people in a perfect place, will it be possible for us to sin in Heaven after the resurrection?   The short answer is no, there will be no sin in Heaven. The long answer is that we won’t sin actually or potentially, for 7 reasons:   1. Jesus took care of all sin at once. Hebrews 10:10 – We have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.   2. We will be forever free from sin. Romans 6:7-11 – One who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.   3. We will be chan

How does the Bible have authority?

The Christian principle of biblical authority means that God is the author of the Bible , and has given it to direct the belief and behavior of His people. Our ideas about God and our conduct should be measured, tested, and where necessary corrected and enlarged, by reference to the Bible. Authority is also the right to command. God's written Word in its truth and wisdom is the way God has chosen to exercise His rule over us, and Scripture is the instrument of Christ 's lordship over the church. The work of the Scripture in the church is illustrated by the seven letters of Revelation (Rev. 2; 3). The Roman Catholic view of the Bible has compromised its unique authority by combining it with the tradition of the church. Roman Catholics accept the Bible as God-given truth, but insist that it is incomplete without the official interpretation of the church as it is led by the Spirit. In the past, giving the church authority over the Bible has led to discouraging or prohib

Take a closer look - “ Scripture cannot be broken.”- John 10:35 Erotic rights appear to be beating down religious liberty. The whole homosexual movements is really the tail end of the 1960's sexual revolution. But today, it is seeking to infiltrate the church. We know the the UK Church of England has capitulated. But how?  Their clery have choosen to ignore scripture or have chosen to re-interpet scripture to suit and justify their own sin. But when the CofE debated the topic of homosexuality with the bishops (not for the public but for the clergy) they used phrases such as "You have your view and we have our view" or "Let's agree to disagree." The authority of scripture does NOT permit these statements. The Bible is not subject to man - we are subject to it. The Bible stands above all opinions and authorities. Because the Reformers believed Scripture is the only infallible authority for the church ( sola Scriptura ), they affirmed that churc
