  Former Patient Sues Infamous Surgeon Noted for Pushing Sex Changes on Kids Transgender-rights activist Dr. Johanna Olson-Kennedy  has been sued  by a former patient who is now detransitioning. Clementine Breen, 20, claims in her lawsuit that Olson-Kennedy pushed her into transitioning at age 12 and lied about her being suicidal to pump her with testosterone. The doctor told Breen’s parents that “if they did not agree to cross-sex hormone therapy, Clementine would commit suicide,” even though the girl never had any suicidal thoughts. Breen was never evaluated by a psychologist before being pushed into the puberty blocker and hormone treatments, despite having faced mental health issues and suffering from sexual trauma as a child. When Breen was 14, Olson-Kennedy pushed a double mastectomy on the girl. Five years ago, the Oxford City Council in England cancelled me from giving an academic lecture on transgenderism, complaining that it breached the city’s diversity policy. On May 1, the United Methodist Church repealed several anti-LGBTQ rules, including lifting its ban on LGBTQ clergy and same-sex weddings. The issue has been so divisive that the part of the Methodist Church that opposes it has formed an entirely new denomination called the Global Methodist Church. “Nearly 30% of Gen Z women identify as LGBTQ, Gallup survey finds,” cheered the  NBC headline  Wednesday. NBC ran an  almost identical headline  about another survey in January. Our first thought was that taking 30% of women out of human reproduction would have devastating consequences for our nation. Our society can’t survive if male/female couples don’t reproduce. Our culture will collapse as traditional nuclear families are destroyed. It’s almost as if some people think that’s the point and the goal. Some people are bilingual, meaning they have a native language that they are most adept in, as well as an additional language that they are functional in. For Satan, his native language is lying. Jesus says to some liars in John 8:44, “You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires...there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” When it comes to our sin and condemnation, there are two ways that Satan condemns:   1. Satan tells the unbeliever they are not condemned. Yesterday I watched the first episode of a new scientific documentary series on cosmology called “The Great Acceleration” and was shocked at the bald-faced lies that were presented to prop up an atheistic view of the universe. Myth #1: “The Bible has been translated and edited so many times, we don’t know what it originally said.” This is probably the most common myth out there. It’s never morally right to deceive with malicious intent. Exodus  20:16  reads, “ You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor ,” and so you should never provide false legal testimony against your countrymen. It hurts society and dishonors God . But what about hiding someone’s surprise birthday party? What about pretending Santa is real? What about feints in warfare (2 Sam  2:22 –25)? What about protecting someone from a murderous mob, that is, to hide a Jewish person from the SS in WWII Europe? Is it ever right to mislead another person?
